Foundations of OMT is an introductory training program designed to provide clinicians with a strong, structured foundation in orofacial myofunctional therapy. This course blends theory with practical application to support the development of clinical confidence and competence in OMT principles and treatment approaches.
Delivered over 12 weeks, the program combines self-paced online learning with guided instruction and live virtual clinical support, creating a balanced and supportive learning experience for busy healthcare professionals.
What to Expect:
- 12-week structured introductory course designed for progressive learning and clinical integration
- Online, self-paced video modules for flexible study
- 50 hours of comprehensive recorded lectures covering foundational OMT concepts and clinical application
- Weekly Wednesday live virtual clinic sessions to review material, discuss cases, and support integration into practice, ongoing guidance and clarification
- Thursday Live sessions, case study presentation and guest speakers
- Interactive clinical learning, including exposure to recorded live patient sessions for observational learning and clinical reasoning development
- Downloadable resources, handouts, and practical tools for clinical use
- Access to a private online community of peers and mentors for collaboration and support
Graduate With:
- Certificate of Completion – Foundations of OMT
- Foundational clinical skills to begin integrating OMT into practice with confidence
- ELIGIBLE FOR IAOM CERTIFICATION (International Association of Orofacial Myology)

Participant Eligibility:
This introductory course is open to dental hygienists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical doctors. No prior experience in myofunctional therapy is required.
Currency:
All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your payment method uses a different currency, the exchange rate will be automatically adjusted by your financial institution.
Payment Plans:
For participants choosing an installment payment option, a 4% processing fee will be applied to each installment.
