Alicia Lewis, RDH – Founder, Paradigm Dental Therapy
Alicia Lewis is a highly experienced and passionate dental hygienist based in London, Ontario, with 25 years of dedication to advancing oral health. Registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario since 2010, she is also an active member of both the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association and the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.
Throughout her career, Alicia has gained extensive, hands-on experience working alongside a wide range of dental specialists, including prosthodontists, pedodontists, orthodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and periodontists. Her professional journey has included work in dental laboratories, TMJ simulation, hygiene, treatment coordination, and over 15 years as an instructor in a community college dental assisting program. This diverse background has given her a deep understanding of dental treatments, patient care, and the interdisciplinary approach required for optimal oral health outcomes.
Since 2021, Alicia has developed a strong passion for orofacial myology, exploring how atypical patterns of oral and facial muscles impact the growth, development, and function of teeth, jaws, and a healthy airway. This focus has transformed her approach to patient care, integrating myofunctional therapy into her practice to support proper oral function, airway health, and overall wellness.
As the founder of Paradigm Dental Therapy, Alicia is redefining the dental hygiene experience, offering innovative, patient-centered care that emphasizes education, prevention, and functional health. She is also a dedicated educator, recently joining Rondeau Seminars to train other dental professionals on the importance and implementation of myofunctional therapy in everyday patient care.
Known for her kindness, empathy, and commitment to excellence, Alicia continues to expand her knowledge and expertise, always striving to enhance patient outcomes and elevate the standard of care in dentistry.
